Some time ago there was a question about how to make a (crossplatform)
screensaver using SDL:

I also remember a thread about a problem with screensavers launched before a
user logged into windows (nt?), but I wasn’t able to find this thread in the
archive.
Has anyone done this successfully (main targets are Win and Mac, others would
be cool too!) and is there some code to build on?
