Menu, how to

I’ve just started using SDL, I want to use it for a small demo program for a
school presentation, it will be really simple, just a screen that changes colors
according to user selections. I want those selections to be made through a menu,
just like the standard Windows’ programs include, the problem is that I’d like
my program to work on both Windows and Linux, that’s a requirement for this
program. I’m using SDL since I’ve read it is trully portable, my question is, do
you know of a library that will help me with this problem?

Would the small GUI library by Sam Latinga
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/GUIlib/ help me with this?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Sure, although I haven’t touched the code for years, and it isn’t suitable
for anything more than simple demos.

See ya!
