Does SDL 1.3 have any support for menus? (i.e. ability to add some of my own items to the File menu that SDL 1.3 provides.) I had thought I had seen this earlier, but now can’t find it.

SDL is low-level library, and doesn’t directly do that, however, it wouldn’t
be difficult to program your own menu system, or you could look into porting
a SDL gui from SDL 1.2. There are probably other options from other mailing
list members, too.On Sun, Mar 27, 2011 at 10:02 PM, VernJensen wrote:

SDL 1.3 could use a good GUI library, if you’re feeling up to it.
Other option is to hook system-specific code or interface with a normal UI toolkit, but this is likely to cause problems.------------------------
