Nasty gotcha in 0.8.11 make install

Sam,

There’s a nasty gotcha lurking in the “make install” in SDL 0.8.11.

If you don’t have any files in SDL-0.8.11/lib when you run the command,
it’ll remove all of the files (but not the directories) in /usr/local/lib
for you. doh

Isn’t that special? :slight_smile:

How did I find out? Well… uhm… yeah! :slight_smile:

(Fortunately, the only files in that directory were the Allegro libs
and the SDL libs… :slight_smile:
