how to create windows using SDL

ParaGUI really use SDL to implement menu and buttons.
But i really want to know that if SDL can be compatible with qt or MFC.
In another words,can i set up a window(use qt or MFC), and there is a SDL
screen in the window and the screen can be used to display vedio or
pictures.
