I used to do the old Atari programing you used to get in handbooks to create games back in the 80’s, simple games though. But havent done anything else since then.
I want to create a game, but take plenty of time to work on, but wish to know the basics first before going ahead with it.
I work in an IT Support out of hours, which basically means 8 hours of web surfing on braodband (Unoffically)
Hopefull Project:
2D game with multiplayer functionality.
i am a quick learner, most of these years i have self taught myself HTML, with webpages, and PHP. Example; http://continue.to/zzrcew (Muzzy) Graphics side, i cant show online atm, there all on harddrive.
5 Years Visual Arts Degree, in Scotland assioc’ London Royal Academy.
Anyways, i think i have said enough for now. Hope you guys will be able to help me out, sometime.

Cool I’m doing the same thing. I am using SDL as my graphics API and writing
a 2D game (at my own leasurely pace). I actually found my way to this board
thanks to Mr. Pendleton and the GP (game programmer) mailing list. http://www.gameprogrammer.com/
