Noob to SDL

Hello folks,

     I'm trying to compile an open-source game using SDL.  It is asking

for SDL.lib. I got the SDL_Image library to work, that’s fine.
I downloaded SDL 1 2 7 (development version) and poitned the
compiler to it… but it says

C:\SDL-1.2.7\BORLAND\LIB\sdl.lib : fatal error LNK1136: invalid or corrupt file
Error executing link.exe.

Any help? :slight_smile: sorry for being a noob
