Nvidia and SVGAlib

Hello !

I have encountered a problem with my Nvidia Card (with the new driver)
and
SVGAlib. If X is running, or has been running and is finished the
results
on the screen are not what they are expected !

Anybody else encountered the same ???

I try to avoid SVGAlib like the plague. I would suggest that you exit X
windows and do an lsmod
find the NVidia driver and
rmmod it.

lsmod
rmmod NVIDIA
or whatever the name happens to be.

The kernel module may be screwing up your SVGALib somehow. (I doubt it
but it is my best guess)

I’ve taken the liberty of forwarding all of this to NVidia.

This problem appears at an resolution at 320x200 and 256 colors(I love
mode 13h ;))
At higher resolution it’s okay.

I will tst more and report !
