On a side note

#SDL on irc.openprojects.net seems to be suffering from increased
attendance. At the time of writing there are 10 people and a robot in there
and there’s actually a conversation going on. Hang on, it just died. No,
wait, it’s saved!

Anyways. irc.openprojects.net. #SDL. Join. I’m Mordred, and if you dare tell
me that Mord stands for Death in German, I will hurt you. BADLY.

I’m only plugging it since akawaka gave me auto-ops…

I was pretty suprised by the turnout myself, and even more suprised
when I went back today to see just about as many people having a just
as heated discussion. I look foward to the next organized meeting and
think I’ll start checking in periodically to see who is on.

If anyone has a question and they have the time, they ought to check out the
chat room before emailing the list with a question. It might help people out
better and bring up new points if they can get a more “realtime” response from
people.On Sun, 26 Mar 2000, you wrote:

how about keeping the same day/time for each organized (weekly ??)
meeting (i.e. Saturday 2h00pm EST -0500) ??

That’ll work for me, I was going to show up on saturdays at that time
anyway from here on out. Is this time cool with everyone else?

Darn, I missed it!

Hey, it would be nice if someone kept logs and cleaned them up for useful
tidbits and posted the gems here once a week.

I can clean up the logs and post them (I’m working on an SDL resource
page and they would fit in perfectly there). But I’ll need someone
else (perferably someone whom is on the majority of the time) to send
me the logs, most likely on a weekly basis. Any takers?

I agree, but I don’t have the time or resources to set it up myself
(I’m a complete IRC newbie). But I don’t mind wading through the
logs.
