Is it possible to get opengl to render to an offscreen buffer with SDL?
I am on Windows (2k). I would like to render 3d objects but blit them
myself.

Not portably. Look through the mailing list archives for more information.

Speaking of looking through the archives, is there a way to text search

SDL at libsdl.org

Go to www.google.com and search for:
site:libsdl.org “search string”
It works well for me.
