OpenGL & SDL image instructions

Hi all.

I have a question. In OpenGL mode… the gl-ints are allways displayed
to screen?
can i create a RGBsurface and render to this surface?, i whant to draw
a opengl primitive in a buffer and then clip the image to use is like a
sprite in SDL window… its that posible?
