OSX and SDL using OpenGL got endianess ARGH!

I am having a problem with SDL and OpenGL. I would like to use SDL to
load a .bmp or .png file as a texture and send that info to gltexture().
I don’t know if this is possible or not? SDL uses SDL_Surface as a
return type for the LoadBMP(). I don’t know how I could use that when I
need a unsigned char I think for a type in gltextures()? If anyone has
some code or a good site with this info on it I would love to see it! I
tried coding a () to load .bmps but ran into endianess and argh I don’t
know enough to deal with that either. Thanks in Advance.

Hi

Take a look in testgl.c in the tests folder - the procedure is fully
explained in there.

You might want to make sure you have the very latest testgl.c as this is a
fairly recent addition. Get it from the CVS if you are unsure.

Best wishes,
