Just noticed the /. article… figured some light hearted fun given

there is no such thing as an un-serious thread on libsdl.

this makes the mail on-topic, your subject line is flawed.
BTW, for some demoscene atari demos, try pouet.net probably
serious subject… i would like to encourage all open source SDL game
programmers to include a rubbish rambling scroll text in all future
releases.

Quiet, you!

In any case, I thought there was an Atari ST port. (I know, that’s
not the same platform as the 1200XL I posted about, but, it’s a lot more
likely that things will run there!)On Wed, Jul 08, 2009 at 04:00:00PM -0500, Will Langford wrote:

I believe that was an April fools joke. Someone took a screenshot of a
game, played with the colors and resolution and posted it as that game
running on an Atari ST.

Yep, I still maintain the Atari ST drivers for SDL. You want at least
to use SDL on a TT or a Falcon, as they are the machines which have at
least a 256 color mode. I also coded a hack to render stuff on a
standard ST (16 grayscales), but it’s mainly for testing on ST
emulators, that can run stuff at the speed of the host CPU :).–
