OT, Austin Texas Game Programming Special Interest Group

Some of us in central Texas has started a game programming sig. We have
monthly meetings and a mailing list. If you are interested please join
the mailing list at http://gameprogrammer.com/atxgpsiglist.html Here is
out purpose statement:

The Austin Texas Game Programming Special Interest Group (ATXGPSIG) is
for anyone either professional or amateur who has an interest in
computer game programming. The group seeks to share the joys and
difficulties of computer game creation with face to face meetings of
those who are like minded. We hope by doing this to increase our skills
and have fun doing it. We are not an industry networking group.

                         Chris Nystrom,
                       ATXGPSIG cofounder

The ATXGPSIG is a FOSS and SDL friendly environment.

Is this open to people outside TX? There’s not a whole lot going on
here in SC in the game dev arena, and I’d participate in the list at
least.

Of course, it is open to any one. OTOH, I have another list at
http://gameprogrammer.com/mailinglist.html that covers similar topics
but is world wide. Join either or both. All are welcome.
