Places To Post Freeware Games I Made With SDL?

Hi,

I’ve got 3 finished SDL1.2+OGL video games finished
and they are posted on my little known website: www.16BitSoft.com
(website gets ~4TB’s of downloads per month)

Can some of you recommend some websites I could post these games to?
Games are freeware and also are open-source.
All three games are for both Windows® and Linux OS’s.

Games are not too bad and I would be happier
if more and more people played them!

Thanks!

Your best bet is to be involved in a pile of forums and link back to your
website. This will cause your page-rank (At least in google) to go up,
because there are multiple links back to your website.
Also placing your games in Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit (as suggested by Armin)
and other social bookmarking websites will increase your traffic.
I don’t know if that answers your question - another suggestion is to take a
route I do and post all of my code on google code (or your preference of
social code site, such as github, or sourceforge, to name a few), which will
automatically pick up the hits.

Hopefully that gives you some ideas.

I would recommend leveraging facebook and twitter as well. You may start with 1 or 2 followers, but as they repost your links to your website you may find yourself with hundreds of followers in a few months. Of course, this requires your games to be worth playing. :P------------------------
