Probably already asked question about exporting a SDL screen to a movie

i want to make you tube videos for my mates music using thei
http://sourceforge.net/projects/projectm/ which is a SDL/GL base music
visualiser, other than jut video the screen then re-add the audio in a vidoe
editor is there any way to capture the sdl window and put it into a video
file? is this insane and i should stop wondering about it now?

i cant seem to find pyvnc2swf to get it to work, i apted it no show, the
other one xvidcap just isnt coping with picking up the output from projectmOn 26 February 2010 15:41, Neil White wrote:

It’s not a free solution, but on the Windows platform there’s Fraps -
http://www.fraps.com/

Can try it free, anyways, but it leaves a watermark. I tried it when
using the IZ3D driver to make 3D anaglyphic videos, and it worked quite
well.
Hope that helps… I wouldn’t have suggested it, but … a camera isn’t
a free solution either.
