Problems compiling SDL CVS Version with CYGWIN

I checkout the SDL Version from CVS, then i tried the usual steps:
But autogen prints out a message about missing ./decomp file and also configure
will not start compiling without it. If i remember correctly some time ago compiling
the SDL CVS version with CYGWIN was no problem.

I need to update automake and figure out why the new versions are barfing
all over SDL’s build process. Or if someone else wants to do it, go for it!
