Problems with running SDL

Hi,
my problem is about:
I’m trying to run SDL 1.2.6…
I get the error message: " Couldn’t initialize SDL: No avalible …"
I running Aurox 9.1
funny thing is that the SDL 1.0.8 is running well.

I check the the PATH is correct. The DISPLAY = :0.0
I did xhost +localhost,
…but the error shows again and again. What else should I tell you to make
you help me.

I would be easier to help you.

I 'm trying to run the test programs included with the library.
These from SDL 1.0.8 are working but the SDL 1.2.6 are not.
