Project Spitfire screenshots

I’ve just updated the site at http://olofson.net; there’s a navigation
bar and two new pages, one of which might be of interest to some of you:

http://olofson.net/spitfire/

Just some info, screen shots and downloads. Nothing hot; just an old, dog
slow Win16 port.

If the controls are too sluggish (they are!), try going into
Settings->Mode-X Emulation and lower the “Allowed system lock time” to
some 10 ms or so. (Not that that makes it even half as responsive as the
DOS version. The SDL version feels just as accurate as the DOS version
did, so it has to be the Win16 port that’s just broken beyond
playability.)

Hi David,
Just checked out the Spitfire site. Looks pretty good. It looks like the Win16 version you have there was written in either Turbo Pascal for Windows or Delphi 1?
I have to ask though why the switch away from Pascal. As I am using Delphi/Kylix with SDL, I am curious.

As this is probably OT, email me privately if you like.

L8R,

Dominique
