paragui does have python bindings. they are available as a
separate package from the site (maybe only in cvs?) i can’t
tell now because the site appears to be down for now.

True. But the whole thing is unmaintained and doesn’t compile anymore.

If anyone wants to check out from CVS:

User: guest
PW: guest

cvs -d :pserver:guest at www.bms-austria.com:/usr/local/CVSROOT co pyparagui

I’m looking at writing an SDL function that will execute a program from with in an SDL program. For example a GUI menu. I know how to do this
in windows and linux, but I’m not sure of the command for Mac. Does anyone know? or could point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Dmon

The way you would do it on OS X is the same as Linux./UNIX

For OS 9, you have to tell the Finder to open the application. There is
some sample code that might help on Apple’s developer web site:

http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/Sample_Code/Interapplication_Comm/FinderLaunch.
