Quake 3 input bug

I noticed a input irregularity in Quake3… I know Q3 isn’t based on
SDL, but the reason I’m mentioning it on THIS list is I remember
hearing a similar control bug with SDL…

As I saw only a similar bug, I’m just hoping that this can help
highlight the issue, not define the exact problem.

Basically, the bug (as I observed it) was that when the machine is using
a high percentage of the CPU, the input subsystem seems to favor
keyboard events to mouse events. As I said before this is in Q3A, not
SDL, but I remember reading a similar bug reported on list.

I’m observing the bug on a 400 MHz AMD K6-2 running Mandrake Linux 9.0.
