grin It’s progressing, you can grab a snapshot here:
http://www.libsdl.org/tmp/SDL-1.3.zip

It’s gotten a lot more stable in the last few weeks, but it’s still PRERELEASE.

You may also be interested to know that I’ve added simple line and point
drawing support, and they respect all the 1.3 blend modes. This is yet
to be implemented in win32, feel free to take a stab at it if you like.

See ya!

Hello !

I want SDL 1.3 for Christmas

I would be very happy for such a christmas present

CU

Do we have an ETA on the first stable release? I have a month off for
winter
vacation and I’d like to give a coat of polish to the tutorials while
adding in
new ones.

Your tutorials rock, by the way. I learned SDL from them…–

Hi,

Can someone out there in SDL land send me
the Windows LIBs and DLL files for 1.3 ?

I try to build myself but could not.
(Problem with my installation of DirectX SDK.)

Please send them to this email address.

Need the most current version of 1.3 for Windows.

Thanks…

Is there an updated version of the documentation I can peep at? I couldn’t find
it in the zip.

I’ve always been a bit surprised SDL doesn’t have an intricate build
system + test harness like Mozilla to automatically generate
downloadable binaries and make sure everything is working with each
patch. I suppose it’s not as big of a project, but it seems like it’s
still a very important piece of software. On Sat, Dec 27, 2008 at 11:17 AM, Jesse P. wrote:

sounds like madness to me! by the time thats configured presumably you
could have rewritten the whole project already!

Not to mention reproducing all the same problems you had before :POn Sat, Dec 27, 2008 at 7:40 PM, Neil White wrote:
