Requesting help with crash during SDL_SetVideoMode()

Things seem to be going awry within SDL_SetVideoMode(). I’m assuming
that this is not actually an SDL_SetVideoMode() bug. However, I am
trying to port this guy’s game to Mac OS X, and I have been absolutely
stumped for 2 days trying to figure out what’s causing this. Please
take a look at this page:

It has a full gdb trace and lots and lots of remarks about the code.

This is obviously a very old email. The problem has been resolved. The
guy who wrote this game circumvented the SDLmain programming without
