make
make install
I have problems with libarts.so.0. Not only on my system, but on few others, too.
So I must:
./configure --enable-arts=no
why? Isn’t a bug?–

The only problem I know with?arts, which is probably not related to your problem, is that artsd likes to steal /dev/dsp for its own use, and refuses to let other oss apps use it. Tho, there is the artsdev emulator which allows oss apps to use arts as a dsp device, but on certain operating systems (esp FreeBSD, due to a known bug in the ports system) it doesnt work.On 25-Jul-2001, Simon Geard wrote:
