SDL 1.3 GDI Backend

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how, in SDL 1.3 (specifically windows), I can obtain either
the pixel information from the openGL renderer or perform a blit from one
window to another.

On another note, what exactly is the software renderer and how does it work?

I’m asking these questions as no matter how hard I try the GDI renderer wont
do blending for me but ultimately I need to be using GDI or a none 3D
renderer to be drawing to my window, as openGL and directX bypass all window
configurations and draw directly to the screen.
