SDL and SerialPorts

Has anyone written code to make SDL deal with serial ports?

Pierre.

Don’t know. But I have some serial port code that should be easy to integrate
into your application. You can get it at:
http://home.pacbell.net/theposts/picmicro/beta

Gpicp is SDL code, but doesn’t itself contain the serial port interface. It
invokes picp, which then accesses the serial port. It’s all GPL code.

Thanks, but we need LGPL code.
Btw, we would like to develop an extension to SDL to handle serialport
connections (= rs232, usb, bluetooth, IR). But how can we do this? I mean,
we would like to use the “look and feel” of SDL.

Are there any pointers on how to extend SDL?

thanks

Many SDL “extensions” are not even part of SDL (though they probably
depend on it.) I think that should answer your question. On Jul 22, 2004, at 3:49 PM, Guilherme Campos Hazan wrote:
