SDL and tablet pc mpuse

Hi,

I tried playing Lost Labyrinth and zsnes on my tablet PC (Win XP Tablet
PC Edition). Both programs use SDL. The Problem is that I can not use
the pen (which normally is used instead of a mouse). The cursor hangs in
the upper left corner of the window and if I move the pen in some
direction only a few mm, the cursor jumps to the other end of the screen.

I expect this to be a bug in SDL (cause I get the same behaviour with
two independent progs), I also looked in the SDL mailing list and tried
to experiment with the environment variables SDL_VIDEODRIVER,
SDL_MOUSEDEV_IMPS2 and SDL_MOUSE_RELATIVE but without any effect.

Perhaps anyone here can help with this issue?

Thanks in advance
Stefan

(note: please CC to my private address, I’m not on the list right now.
Thanks)

Can you try this DLL?
http://www.libsdl.org/cvs/SDL.dll

It uses the windib driver by default. I’m guessing that you’re running
into an issue with DirectX input not correctly scaling the pad input values.
