I’ve been looking around for SDL apps that are available in the Appstore
but so far I haven’t been able to confirm any. There are several hints
around that Apple will approve apps using SDL, like the following links:

If that is the case, you’d think that Rovio would at least mention SDL on
their website somewhere. It’s the least the can do after getting a $42
million investment in their company based on Angry Birds.> ----- Original Message -----

Angry Birds uses it on webOS, not for the iPhone version.
There are a number of companies that have built iPhone apps using SDL, but
they are under confidential commercial licensing, so I can’t say anything
directly.

Are they allowed to say anything, or would that violate their
agreement with Apple? It would be polite on their part to acknowledge

Hedgewars (www.hedgewars.org) uses SDL EVERYWHERE, both on desktop and
on mobile (ios only for the moment)
it also has lua code and its engine is written in freepascal! quite a
proof of technology interoperability
