Hello, The SDL depends on the cdrom unit to play the cdrom audio, right?
Well, i wanted to know how can i check if the cdrom unit is capable to
play a cdrom… For example i have two cdrom readers and in one i can play
a disc that in the other i cannot… Thanks for your help.

Why wouldn’t a CD-ROM reader be able to play a CD-ROM?
See ya,

I would guess it’s because the CD-ROM isn’t connected to the sound card. Not
surprising I would say since I bet most sound cards only have one CD-ROM
connection slot for them.
What happens if digital CD audio is enabled for the drives?
On Windows this is in Device Manager. I have no idea about Linux or other OSes.
