I’m in #SDL on irc.openprojects.net most of the day on weekdays, if people
want to chat about SDL, often busy so sometimes I don’t check irc for
hours. If people start to show up we could go about organising regular
chats.

I have been there many times and people don’t seem too responsive. I
really dislike it when people sit on in an IRC channel and don’t "check"
its seems dumb to be there and not really be there… Just my two cents.
Because of this I totally agree with you that we should schedule a time to
meet on IRC. That would probably be a lot of fun and we could get a lot
done. I have learned a lot about linux in general that way.
