Why does hiding the currently visible cursor seem to disable it? I am using a touchscreen and I don’t wish the cursor to be visible.___________________________________________________________

Did you try a bitmap cursor? If you disable the OS cursor, you should still be able to display and use a bitmap cursor…

I’ve actually used an XPM array and created a cursor with no pixel data, thus an invisible cursor.
