SDL cursor

Can anyone help…

Why does hiding the currently visible cursor seem to disable it? I am using a touchscreen and I don’t wish the cursor to be visible.___________________________________________________________

Using SDL_ShowCursor(0) you can hide the cursor but it’s not disabled,
you can still use it.

Well, that’s what I thought, but it seems not to be the case. My touchscreen just seems to stop responding when the cursor is hidden.

I’m now going to make a transparent cursor to bodge a way around…> ----- Original Message -----

Hey,

Did you try a bitmap cursor? If you disable the OS cursor, you should still be able to display and use a bitmap cursor…

I’ve actually used an XPM array and created a cursor with no pixel data, thus an invisible cursor.
