Just wondering what the progress was on the integrating the GAPI backend
with SDL? Or with the WinCE port in general. I’m more than willing to
test anything on our Axim x50 and x50v devices.

It’s going ok, thanks for your offer to help test.
We’ve not started work yet on integrating the GAPI backend, we’ve been
concentrating more on fixing bugs and getting it to work on the assorted
Pocket PC platforms.
Integrating GAPI adds more complexity in several places, so we’ve been
holding off on that until we’re sure what we’ve got works properly.
I’ve not heard from either Dmitry or Nicolas (who to be honest are doing
most of the work, I’m just a go-between) for a few days, so I can’t say
what they’ve been working on.
If you would like I can e-mail you a diff and a set of project files so
you can test what we’ve got so far?

Boy, it’s a good thing I went rummaging around the folders on my
server. Not sure how I missed your response to my message. I would be
happy to accept a set of patch files and give it a whirl on our devices.
