SDL_image compiled for Mingw32

Hi!

Could someone with Mingw32 (windows-enviroment, not Cygwin) and
SDL_image-library, send me the following files(or give a link to get
them?):

SDL_image.h
libSDL_image.a

I’m not sure if that library requires zlib and pnglib also? If yes, I
think they contain the following files

png.h
pngconf.h
libpng.a

zlib.h
deflate.h
infblock.h
infcodes.h
inffast.h
inffixed.h
inftrees.h
infutil.h
trees.h
zconf.h
zutil.h
libz.a

I just can’t get them work any other way. I’ve tried those compiled by
Hayward, but they give some weird undefined reference to __imp_iob or
something.

Hi

I succesfully created mingw32 .a files from the Win32 .DLL’s by following
the hints at

http://www.mingw.org/docs.shtml under the “How to create a def file for a
dll” section.

I did this for the following files without any problems:-

libjpeg.a
libpng.a
libSDL.a
libSDL_image.a
libSDL_ttf.a
libSDLmain.a
libttf.a
libz.a

You don’t need any special version of the SDL_Image header file - the one
you already have is correct. Furthermore, you don’t any of the header files
for the zlib and png stuff unless you intend on recompiling the SDL_Image
library.
