SDL memory error starting up/shutting down

I recently downloaded a demo version of the Devpartner c++ runtime code checker, to see how useful it was at finding my errors (although I baulked at the cost), and found that running under windows when I begin and shutdown my application it reports two memory allocation errors within SDL.dll.

It says:
Argument 2 in ReleaseDC (HDC__ hdc = 0x600112B6) still contains non default/stock objects on starting up, and the same upon shutting down.

I have only downloaded the runtime version of SDL, is this an erroneous report, or should I dig into it further?
