Sdl_mixer loop delay

Hi!! I?m working with .wav files, and with this
configuration: Mix_OpenAudio(16000,
and I’m playing the sound with this:
Mix_PlayChannel(-1,m_wave,loop? -1: 0); //m_wave is a
Mix_Chunk *;
When I play a sound with loop, it suffers a ugly delay
when looping… how can I avoid it?? Finally, someone
knows how to stop the sound?? by the moment, I let it
looping until the game finishes (luckily it?s the game
