SDL_net - binding udp to interface

I was just wondering if there was a specific reason why SDL_net doesn’t
let you bind a UDP socket to a specific interface?

This has been discussed before. It seems to be a missing feature of
SDL_net. I think part of the problem is that you need a machine with
multiple interfaces to be able to work on fixing the problem.

It would be nice if it were fixed.

No you don’t… use localhost and eth0? it should be possible… or
just use an alias on eth0…

Yeah, you’re right. That should enable testing on a machine with a
single physical interface.
