SDL on framebuffer

Finally ,??configure the framebuffer ok.But after
several experiments ,I found the speed of yuv overlay
had droped greatly.

the following is my debug output.From it ,you can see,
when I have no fb support , I get a very fast speed.
but when I compile a new kernel with fb support, the
speed becomes slower.

Morever,on framebuffer console ,the first time I run
my program ,It must get very slow .but the second ,the
third …,you can see the speed will get a great
improvement though it is still slower than on xwindow

btw,my video card is nvidia tnt2

This is because SDL is taking advantage of the X11 accelerated YUV support
in a window, but none of the framebuffer drivers have accelerated YUV code
in them. You could add it, but writing individual video drivers is a long
and dangerous task. :slight_smile:
