Sdl & opengl slow?

Hi

i?ve make a little lib to use opengl for 2d.
it?s working well, but here is the problem :

if i make a test program the opengl mode is slower than the software mode.

what did I make wrong ?

PS: the lib is under GPL and you can download it opensl.sourceforge.net

You probably dont have your system set up right, the
program itself is just fine.

Are you on windows? Some say Microsoft intentionally
attempted sabotoge on opengl and made it slow on some
of their OSes… have you downloaded the newest
drivers?

Do you even have an accelerated graphics card? (I’m
just asking, you havn’t said you do…)

Are you on linux? Using Mesa? That’s not 3d
accelerated… that’s software only. You may need to
upgrade your XFree86 version in order to even SUPPORT
3d acceleration. Then you’ll have to find drivers for
your card, which is a pain in the ass quite often…
nVidia has ones on their site for their cards…

Really, though, more information is needed :-).
Upgrade things related to your graphic system, dont
use mesa, and try again.
