I’ve been working on an SDL project and I’d like to
try to port it to my Pocket PC. I found a couple of
different WinCE file downloads on different sites but
wasn’t really sure how to get them to work with
Microsoft eVC++ and which was the best.
I was wondering where the most recent version is and
where the files should go to build a simple example
program with eVC++ and SDL? I have a Dell Axim running
Windows Mobile 2003 SE.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,

then you get fully WinCE compatible library, just compile it with
eVC3 or eVC4.
Note that it does not implements GAPI driver.
I saw GAPI implelenation for WinCE, so if someone would like to
combine several WinCE patches in one you are welcome.–

I would have loved to help with the testing of the PocketPC stuff and
working on integrating the GX backend (or using ExtEscape on PPC2003SE and
higher) but I can’t seem to get CVS code behind our firewall. Is there
any other way to obtain the latest code to work with?
Todd Lang> Hello,
Sorry if this has been discussed on the SDL list and I missed the
conversation - I’ve not worked with SDL or Pocket PC for a few months
now, so I unsubscribed.
Dmitry should have the latest code diff – I never coded anything, I
just prodded people and asked questions.
I did however make updated eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 project files. Please
find them attached. They should compile the library (and SDLmain) for
every CPU that eVC4 supports.

Hi,
I’d like to fine tune and carefully test several places, so please give
me
several days for it.
