Is the SDL_Rotozoom the best choice to resize surfaces?
In my application, SDL_Rotozoom is memory leaking. Would it be my fault? Or
is it an already known issue?

its probably your fault as i have used it with no problems, don’t forget its
output is a new surface, so once you have blitted that surface, destroy
(free) it

Is the SDL_Rotozoom the best choice to resize surfaces?
SDL_Rotozoom was never designed to zoom and rotate surfaces in realtime,
so it is not really speed optimized.
If it is possible in your app/game resize the surfaces at the start.
