Sdl-smpeg stuff?

I guess I mistakenly believed that the only thing I needed to compile
smpeg, was SDL. Which i’ve already compiled and installed, I get the
following error while trying to compile smpeg:

(snip! - everything above this section compiled successfully)…

make[1]: Entering directory /usr/src/smpeg-0.4.1' gcc -DPACKAGE=\"smpeg\" -DVERSION=\"0.4.1\" -I. -I. -g -O2 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/SDL -D_REENTRANT -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -DNDEBUG -I.. -DNOCONTROLS -I. -I./audio -I./video -c glmovie-tile.c make[1]: Leaving directory/usr/src/smpeg-0.4.1’

I’m sure it’s just something stupidly simple that I’ve missed, but if
someone could point me in the right direction, or enlighten me, I would
greatly appreciate it…

You probably don’t have the GLU library installed. The next release of
SMPEG will look for that before enabling the OpenGL player. Don’t worry,
the GL player is just an example, and not as complete as plaympeg or gtv.

See ya!

This is the GL movie player. Build smpeg with --disable-opengl-player
to not build it.

Or better, submit a script that turns it off if OpenGL isn’t found.
