Hi all,
I am searching for correct graphic library for my framebuffer device.
We have multi-layer (5 layers) framebuffer vga-controller, i.e. layer-0 for background,
layer-1 for video, layer-2 for text …
I have gone through some of the Documentation over SDL but none specifies these info.
Please help me with these questions (if you can ans any)
-
Do we have any multi-layer handlling functionality in SDL ??
-
Can SDL drive multiple framebuffers at a time over same fb-dev (if fb-device supports) ??
-
I am trying to build SDL over Nios2 (No-MMU) platform, is there already done support for it or
if I need to create one then approximatly what needed to be done for same ???
thanks in advance,

Cool, never heard of such a thing,
why are you using them ? Why does your apps need them ?

Hi Torsten,
Thanks for the interest and reply,
Actually I am not looking from app point of view, but from driver point of view.
why are you using them ?
I am using it because no other options are available for Nios board.
My vga chip supports layers so I thought why not select a graphic library which can handle layering (like directfb), if graphic library doesn’t supports layering then I have to implement handling of layers in framebuffer driver : )
Ok I can use only one layer and disable other, but my other question are still not answered !!!
Kindly help !!!
thanks
