[SDL2_Mixer] - No Audio On Windows 8?

Sorry to re-post this, it was too large 1st time…

Hi,

My team and I are trying to use new SDL2_Mixer in our SDL2 game project.

Our audio in our game uses:
OGG & MOD for music
WAV for sound effects

Here is our code, which fails to initialize:

Code:
int flags = MIX_INIT_OGG|MIX_INIT_MOD;
int initted = Mix_Init(flags);
if ( (initted&flags) != flags )
{
fprintf(stderr, “Mix_Init: Failed to init required ogg and mod support!\n”);
fprintf(stderr, “Mix_Init: %s\n”, Mix_GetError());

    AudioWorking = false;
    return false;
}

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!------------------------

Got an error saying that MOD music support was not built into the SDL2_Mixer:

How we fix this?

Thanks!

make sure that ogg support is compiled in. it has nothing to do with
windows 8 - just your build of sdl_mixer does not support the formats
you requested.Am 18.08.2013 21:35, schrieb JeZ-l-Lee:
