SDL3 header compile speed

What the heck did you guys do? It’s SO QUICK to compile. I constantly have <500ms with so many functions available to me. Nice job

Is it faster than in SDL2?

Note that the headers mostly just contain function declarations and a few structs. The actual function definitions (implementations) are not compiled when you just include the headers. SDL is written in C so there are also no templates or constexpr stuff that slows down compilation like is often the case in C++.

Yes. SDL3 takes my machine 77ms while SDL2 takes 300ms. clang version 17.0.6

#include<SDL3/SDL.h>
int main() {

}
