Can SDLnet run in BeOS?

Could anyone update SDLNet 1.0.1 to reflect the implementation of the
SDLNet_ResolveIP function?

I know that someone is working on SDLNet now, but I don’t know his/her
name.

I would like to have connections through proxies support for SDLNet.
Is anyone on this now ?
