Hi. Glad to hear that SDL 2.0 is out.
Currently I’m studying OpenGL 2.1 with GLSL 1.2 to develop/study about game
programming.
I was looking the features that SDL2 has and noticed the simple 2D
rendering API.
I’m curious about this feature.
-
If I have some kind of limitation using the API, will it be too
difficult to implement or extend the functionalities?
-
Is it possible (or is it the idea) in the future create a simple 3D
rendering API? Or this is too good to be true?
Thanks.
Asking for a simple 3D renderer is like asking for water that isn’t wet. :P________________________________
