Software 3d modeller - anyone interested?

A colleague of mine developed a 3d modeller a while back (
http://draw3d.shervinemami.co.cc/ ) that we’d be free to rip apart and hack
up into SDL 1.3, if anyone is interested - I know there are a lot of people
who are using SDL for embedded systems that might find some of the
functionality useful.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I can contact Shervin (the
developer).

He would have to agree to release the relevant bits under a compatible
license (zlib, public domain, CC0, etc).

Other than that, adding a 3D API to SDL would be nice, but maybe
unnecessary. Generally, you’d use SDL with OpenGL for any 3D stuff,
in which case porting Mesa to the appropriate platform makes more
sense than adding yet another layer to SDL.On 12 May 2011 12:15, Alex Barry <alex.barry at gmail.com> wrote:

I’m in agreement with Kenneth. Mesa3D is very portable and defines the full OpenGL api.------------------------

Hi,

Tiny SDGL should also be applicable …
