Steps in png

Hi!

If I open this png in gimp, all looks fine. But with showimage it looks
weird. There are ugly steps in it. Anyone give me a glue? Tested it with
various libpng version -> no result.

You are probably using a video mode < 24bpp, perhaps 16bpp.
SDL or showimage do not dither, but gimp does. It’s not a bug
