Suggestions on C++ wrapper for SDL

Hello all,

Could I get some opinions on the most complete and most active C++ wrapper
project for
SDL? I see that there are several out there and I was hoping to solicit
some opinions.

Thanks!

Well, you can try them all and find out which suits you best. From my
point of view, the SEL http://sel.sf.net is the best (no surprise - I
am it’s author… :).
To me the wrapper seems to be one amongst most complete and it also adds
several useful extensions (fast painter, resource management, microtile
arrays (for dirty rectangles, etc.)).

You should give it a try.

Well, I can do some advertising for SDLmm. It’s rather complete when
it comes to the graphics / display part and events. The other
"modules" of SDLmm are a bit underrepresented though. I honestly
haven’t worked on it for quite some time either (other things with
higher priority etc).

However one benefit (IMHO) of SDLmm is that the API is very similar
to SDL. It also has relatively good documentation.–
