Tile Engine & Sprite Engine HELP! :)

Hello Guys!

I’m developing a TE class for a game and I need a lot of information
(tutorials, docs, texts) about TE technology and optimization, such as:

  • Tile animation
  • Screen scrolling
  • Real-time camera changes
  • Collision Detection techniques
  • Iso, Hex and Straight tiles
  • World coordinates (instead of pixels)

I’m a newbie at most topics and need more data at others.

Could you please send anything you have about these topics?

Thanks a LOT!

Eduardo.

here’s a resource I found to be quite useful in my own pursuit of
enlightenment on these topics.
